Coach Client Agreement

1. The session

a) Be prepared

To get the most out of your session:
Have a small snack or light meal two or three hours before your session
Be sure you are well hydrated and avoid alcohol prior to training
If you are feeling unwell before your session please contact me

Bring a small towel and water bottle to your session
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear (ask me if you are unsure)

Be ready at the appointed time – avoid feeling rushed or stressed before you start

b) Communication and Commitment

I will give you the tools and encouragement to reach your goals. Ultimately only you can decide to make the required changes to see the best results. If you are struggling with that, let me know. I can best help you if you keep me fully informed. If you have any questions or concerns whatsoever please don’t hesitate to voice them with me. If we commit and communicate this will work best.

You will want to know when you are working out and won’t want to be kept waiting. I need to make sure I can deliver on that for you and my other clients. So timings are important. Naturally though sometimes things crop up.

c) If you need to cancel or are running late

If you cancel your session with less than 24 hours notice, or fail to show up please understand that I will have to charge the session fee.
If you cancel with more than 24 hours notice I will make no charge and we can re-arrange at a time that works. Obviously, the more notice you can give me the better.

If you are late, I will do my best to get the most out of the remaining time left in the session. Please understand that I will probably not be able to run over time because of my commitments to other clients.
In the event that you need to reschedule or you are running late for a session, please contact me ASAP by:

Texting or Calling: (Abi) 07830594246 (Charlie) 07817592224 Emailing: info@the-fitnessyard.co.uk

d) If I need to cancel or am running late

If I am forced to cancel our session I will re-schedule the session as soon as possible at no charge to you.
If I run late in starting our session I will extend the session time accordingly or make it up at a future date, whichever is most convenient to you.

2. Payment
a) Session options and term:

All sessions are £50.00 per 50minutes charged via a direct debit on a weekly basis.

e.g. 2x 50sessions per week = £100 debited

For every 2 Personal Training sessions you purchase, will be given a free class pass. This will give you access to 1 TFY class of your choice (all classes included).

e.g. If you have 8 sessions within a 4-week period, you will receive 4 class passes to use within those same 4 weeks. These will reset accordingly after the 4 weeks.

b) Payment option:

We will set up a direct debit account and send the link directly to you.

c) Refund Policy

You have the right to cancel a pre-paid block of sessions provided you give seven days notice. All confirmed sessions within the seven day notice period must be paid for – and of course you can attend them. Any sessions paid beyond the seven day notice period will be refunded in full.

If you have to cancel sessions for medical reasons, a full refund will be given for unused sessions with no notice period required if you provide me with a letter from your doctor of physiotherapist clearly stating exercise restrictions.

Refunds are not provided under any other circumstances.

3. Other aspects of our agreement

a. Confidentiality

All information you give me will be kept in confidence. Your personal details and others data will not be made available to third parties without your express permission.

b. Recommendations

I will suggest certain exercises and other lifestyle advice that I believe will help you achieve your personal goals, but if at any time you have specific requests please tell me so I can accommodate them.

c. Referral

I will work with you within the scope of my knowledge and competencies as a qualified trainer. If I believe it is in your best interests to see another health professional, I will refer you appropriately but I am neither qualified and nor are you paying me to give advice on matters outside of our training sessions.

d) Your health

You will be provided with a PAR-Q form so that we get an understanding of your current health, limitations and any medication you may be taking.

e) Accepting potential risks

Whilst for most people exercise is hugely positive with many health benefits, you confirm and acknowledge that you are participating in the sessions that I recommend entirely at your own risk and on the terms set out in the informed consent and disclaimer that I will provide and ask you to sign.
